.h1 RECORD DELETION
.vt 2
It is easy to delete a record that you no longer want.
Perhaps you gave away an item to some charity, or just
threw it away as useless.
.sp
Whatever the reason, it still is easy. You only have to
change the record number of the record that you do not want
from being a positive number to being a negative number
(one with a minus-sign in front of it).
.sp
That is because each REAL record is saved with a positive
number, while records which have been created (and not yet
used) were created with negative numbers. Knowing this,
you only have to change a record number to minus, save
the changed (empty) record, and the data which was in the
record is gone forever.
.sp
Following is an example of deleting an unwanted record.
